Welcome to the Birmingham Works Netball League
The Works League was set up in February 2006 to introduce more women into netball and offer places of work the opportunity to socialise together through sport. The league is 'central venue' at Shenley Court Community Leisure Centre in Northfield. Teams come from all professions [solicitors, administrators, nurses] who share a love of netball and enjoy socialising outside of work! Both The Winter and Summer League have three divisions, The Winter League runs from Sept to November for the first half and then from Feb to April. Games are played on Wednesday evenings at either 6.30pm or 7.30pm. The Summer League runs from April to July. Whether you are complete beginners or experienced players there is a place for your team in the league. The atmosphere is friendly, however as always England Netball rules apply.
