2006 Season
The prelimary work for the 2006 season has been done. All players should by now know which teams they are in, have their kit and have details of the first fixtures on 29th April.
We are sorry, but have had to change some of the fixtures and a new fixture list is being sent out. Matches on 29th April are NOT affected, but subsequent weeks are. Do not rely on the yellow fixture list!!! The revised fixture list is held in the documents folder on our MSN Group.
2005 Season
We have decided to create a private group on MSN to hold and manage photographs. This is an unlisted group to which members of the public do not have access, which should give added protection to our players and their families. It is of course completely free. Many of the photographs will be unposed action shots taken from Little League Matches. For more information, click here.
23rd April 2005: We now have nine teams - the new team is called the Merlins, who play in cherry red and navy. We held our first matches today at Selly Park Girls School, and we were surprised by the good standard of play. The results are on this web-site, and so is the league table. Select 2005 as the "division" to view this year's results.
SPONSORSHIP NEEDED
Did you know that the Little League's only source of revenue for running costs is the £5.00 per year registration fee? We need individuals or businesses that are willing to sponsor a team with a donation of £50 or more. Sponsors may have their names published on the Birmingham-netball website. If you can help, or know someone who may be able to help, please contact Dianne Barber or your Team Manager.
Please leave your details on the Contact form if you are in Year 4, 5 or 6 and would like to find out more about taking part.
We have now moved into our own geographical area! The Little League this year will be based at Selly Park Girls' School, Selly Park Road, Birmingham B29, which has more and better courts than our old venue. We will have reasonable quality full sized courts (with lines marked out!)
