FOXES NETBALL CLUB TRIALS

Foxes Netball Club Trials

Foxes have recently qualified for the West Midlands Regional League Division 2 and as a result will be seeking to augment their existing teams to enable them to support a Regional team, while maintaining their local league positions within the Birmingham Netball League.

If you are interested in joining a thriving Club and would relish the opportunity to play at up to Regional level then you are invited to take part in Foxes trials which will be held

7 – 9 pm Tuesday 25^th June at Solihull College Sports Hall, Blossomfield Road, Solihull, B91 1SB.

Players identified at the trials of 25^th June as being of sufficient ability will be asked to take part in further trials to be held:

3 – 5pm Saturday 29^th June at Newman University Sports Hall, Genners Lane, B32 3NT.

If you are unable to make the first trial date, but would still be interested in playing for Foxes please contact either:

BOLDMERE NETBALL CLUB

We will be holding training/trial sessions in June. If you want to be selected for a team next season you will need to attend at least two of these sessions. If you cannot make any of these sessions please contact us as soon as possible.

Sessions will be as follows:

Saturday 1st June 11am - 1pm
Saturday 8th June 11am - 1pm
Saturday 15th June 11am - 1pm
Saturday 22nd June 11am - 1pm
Saturday 29th June 11am - 1pm

All sessions will be held at Boldmere Sports & Social Club, Boldmere Road, B73 5TD

SPARKHILL NETBALL CLUB

TRIAL DATES

Sparkhill Netball Club are looking to strengthen and possibly enter an additional team for the forthcoming Winter 2013/14 Season.

Last season the teams were in Divisions 3, 6, 8 and 11. Trials for all four teams will be held on the following dates:

Saturday 15 June 12.30pm - 2.30pm

Sunday 7 July 11.00am - 1.00pm

Thursday 18 July 7.30pm - 9.00pm

All three Trials will be held at King Edwards Girls School, Edgbaston Park Road, Edgbaston, B15 2UB and will be INDOORS.

The cost of each Trial will be £2.00

Bournville Netball Club Trials

Bournville Netball Cub will be holding trials for their Regional , 1st and 2nd teams (in Divs 1,2 of BNL) on the following dates:

Sunday 16th June 10am-12pm
Wed 19th June 7.00pm-9.00pm
Sunday 23rd June 10.00am - 12.00am
Sunday 30th June 10.00am-12.00am

All will be held at King Edwards Girls School.

Trials will be held on the 25th of may at 10am till 3pm at Nechells Community Sports Centre, Rupert Street, Nechells Birmingham B7 5DT.

(please note Bran nu do not play in the Birmingham Netball League - but play in the Walsall league)

All teams must have at least 5 players as registered employees of a particular company/ business/workplace.

Each team must also provide their own umpire on the day.

The closing date for this event is Friday 14th June.

DUDLEY ROAD NETBALL CLUB

Dudley Road Hospital Netball Club have two teams in the Birmingham League playing in Division 2 and 12.

We are seeking new players to support and strengthen our current squad. Some experience preferred but not essential. All ages and abilities welcome at this friendly and ambitious club.

We will be training with qualified coaches on Wednesday evenings from 6.00pm – 8.00pm at Hillcrest School, Stonehurst Lane, Bartley Green, Birmingham B32 3AE, starting on the 12 September 2012. First session will be free. We would also consider training with another club of similar status.

Linden Netball Club

Linden Netball Club welcome new players to join their club.

Sparks netball club are currently recruiting new girls to play in the Birmingham summer league and next seasons winter league. Central Venue Helper.

We are looking for someone to help the committee on the Central Venue desk every Saturday.

The duties will include.

· Covering the desk from 9.30am – 1pm

· Taking and recording payment from teams.

· Taking new registrations

· Completing match cards

· Checking signatures

· Dealing with enquiries.

The applicant should ideally have.

· Knowledge of the BNL and how Central Venue works

· Be a qualified umpire.

· Good numeracy and writing skills

· A cheerful and helpful disposition.

CAR PARKING AT STOCKLAND GREEN

Some players have been parking their cars at Stockland Green and travelling to other venues.

Stockland Green have asked us to advise you that once their events have finished on a Saturday they will lock the gates to the Centre. Please do not leave your car there unless you know the Centre will be open when you return.

First Aid

All teams should have a simple First Aid Kit eg wipes, plasters, tape, available on the side of the court. Remember there is no injury time at Central Venue but all open wounds with blood mustbe covered.

Refreshments

We would like to see teams offering refreshments at the end of the match once more. It will be the responsibility of the home team [ the team listed on the side next to the date] to provide them.
