Talent ID Course - Sunday 16th December
A must for all club coaches and teachers with talented young players.
Venue: Dame Elizabeth Technology College Sports Centre, Bournville, B30 1UL
Time: 9am - 12midday
Tutor: West Midlands Head Coach - Jeanette Pointon
Cost: £15 for affiliated members (must put your affiliation number on the application form)
£20 for non-affiliated.

Who is the course aimed at::
For club coaches and teachers to identify talented and potentially talented netballers. This is a certified course and accredits attendees to nominate athletes to an appropriate level within the County Excel pathway. From September 2013, athlete nominations for Birmingham Satellite and County Academies will only be considered from scouts and coaches/teachers who have attended this course. For those clubs working towards CAPS, you must attend this course if you have players in the academies.
Outcomes: The workshop which will run alongside one of Birmingham's Netball Academies is aCPD opportunity for teachers and club coaches; it will give them a better understanding of what is needed to succeed in netball and how they can help their talented players be the best they can be. Attendees will leave the workshop with an understanding of:
- The England Netball Excel Programmes and Structures
- The characteristics of a talented athlete
- Processes for Talent Identification and Selection
- Selection methods and considerations

There is a UKCC Level 1 Netball Coach Award at the Futsal Stadium, Birmingham, B19 2LF on
Saturday 2nd February, Sunday 3rd February and Saturday 2nd March 2013
Times: 9 – 6 pm on all days
Cost: £170 EN Affiliated learner and £200 Non-Affiliated
