Welcome to Bournville and Selly Oak Little League Netball. The League is run by the Coaches and senior players of Birmingham City Netball Club, which has CAPS Accreditation from the sport's governing body, England Netball. Over the last few years we have experienced problems with obtaining facilities to run what has previously been a very successful and popular Little League.
This is an example of two of our teams from a previous season.
All our teams are named after Britsh birds,
and play in good quality, attractive kit
which is loaned to players for the season on a small deposit.
Our difficulties in finding a location for our Little League have continued. Last year's venue at Raddlebarn Primary School is no longer available. We have finally secured the use of St Edwards RC Junior School and we are grateful for the positive spirit with which they have responded to our needs. The School has two new netball courts, which will be a great advantage to us, as we will be able to run two matches at the same time.
The League begins on Saturday 28th April and matches (lasting about 1½ hours including warm-up and skills practice) will be played at St Edwards RC Junior School on Saturday mornings until 19th June between 9:00am and 12:00noon. A Tournament and a Presentation Evening / Disco will be held in July.
Costs: Little League Registration is £10.00 for the Season. Kit is loaded on a returnable deposit of £10.00.
Fixtures for 2012 are now on the Fixtures page.
